It’s her love for Manipuri Literature that led to the creation of Library Of Manipur. She passionately and tirelessly reads the beautiful literature of Manipur. This is a gift to many who have migrated or studied outside of Manipur and no longer able to read the script. She has read many books including explanation which helps the audience of different generation to understand the underlying story and message of greats works of authors of Manipur. As a young mother she read with the dim light of laten (kerosene lantern) as we all huddled on the bed pulling and fighting over the pheijup (blanket)
We started podcasting in 2017 with her reading of Khamba & Thoibi making us cry and laugh, taking us through the stories. And still today she reads to us passionately revealing the beautiful talented people of Manipur.
